Hi Saddique,

Do you really have a Suzuki Karimun in Pakistan?? Wow, I just knew that Suzuki Karimun is available over there. What model is it, anyway? And what year it's make?

The oldest model of Suzuki Karimun in Indonesia was actually derived from Suzuki Wagon-R Wide which is available in Japan, or also known as Opel Agila in Europe. Originally it was powered by K10A engine, but for Indonesia market they down-spec the engine into F10A, as the F10A has become a very popular engine in Indonesia. It's been used by Suzuki Carry 1.0, Suzuki Forsa, and Suzuki Katana. The engine is still carburetor based.

The newer Suzuki Karimun model in Indonesia is Karimun Estilo, which was originally known as Suzuki MR Wagon, and it was built in India by Maruti Suzuki. It's engine is F10D, an injection engine type.

The newest one is New Karimun Estilo. Still built in India, but has K10B engine. A brand new 3-cylinders DOHC injection engine.

Unfortunately, the tranny of K10B is not compatible with F10A. Sorry for not giving you much help.

Dear Brother thanks for replying my thread in English.
F10A engine is still use by Pak Suzuki Alto but its gear ratios is not best so car runs slow with peppy acceleration.
In Pakistan I try to find Karimun/Wagon R gear box but they are all K6A.
If somebody help me to find Karimun Gear box repair manual with its detailed pictures so that i may understand and change its gear ratios .

Well, let me see what I can do... I think I have the Karimun's gearbox repair manual. But it's in hardcopy, so if I happened to find it I will still need to scan it first.

Hey... look at those fabulous F10A in the Alto... Big Grin
Btw, I didn't mean to scan the whole book. It might be only a couple of pages which describes the transmission system of the Karimun.
But unfortunately, I still couldn't find the book... *sigh*
